HI, I’M TANYA

I’m Tanya—a wedding designer with a refined, intuitive approach to creating celebrations that feel elevated, personal, and effortless.

I’ve been in this industry for over a decade, and one thing I know for sure is that the best designs don’t come from trends—they come from understanding people. How you move, what you’re naturally drawn to, what feels like you. My job is to take all of that and turn it into something cohesive, thoughtful, and completely your own.

I don’t start with a mood board—I start with you.
Before anything is designed, I’m thinking about the full experience. How your guests will move through the space, where the energy builds, where it softens, what moments will actually stick with people. Every detail has a reason, so nothing feels random, forced, or overdone.
At the end of it all, it should feel natural—like everything just came together the way it was meant to.

The tea on me

I’m a mom, a wife, and someone who somehow thrives in both structure and a little chaos.

I’m competitive (my family reminds me of that often), I love a good meal, and I’ll always find a way to turn a moment into a memory—especially if there’s music involved. Life is usually moving fast, but when I do slow down, I’m probably at the beach, just taking it all in.
I’m drawn to things that feel elevated but still real—nothing forced, nothing extra, just done well

What I'm

loving

Lately, I’ve been really into the process of building—spaces, ideas, experiences.
There’s something about watching everything come together piece by piece that never gets old. It’s where creativity meets purpose, and where things start to really click.

What I'm

learning

I’m learning to trust my perspective—and actually lead with it.
For a long time, I stayed focused on just doing the work. But growth has looked like stepping forward more, owning my voice, and standing confidently behind the way I see and create.
Because the best work comes from clarity, not hesitation.

What I'm

not about

I’m not about overcomplicating something that should feel natural.
I don’t believe in forcing design, chasing trends just because they’re popular, or creating something just for looks. If it doesn’t align—with you, your space, or the way the day should feel—it doesn’t belong.
Simple as that.

what I

believe

I believe the most meaningful things are created with intention.
My faith shapes a lot of how I move—both in life and in my work. I try to lead with care, honesty, and respect for the people I’m working with. I want every experience to feel thoughtful, welcoming, and grounded.
Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about how it looks—it’s about how it stays with you.

How My Background in Beauty, Fashion, and Retail Design Shaped My Approach to Weddings

I didn’t start in weddings—I started in beauty and fashion, where creativity was everything.

For the past 10+ years, I’ve worked across different areas of the industry, from styling editorial shoots to designing retail window displays and floorplans, to creating graphic design for major retail brands across the country. Each role taught me how to see a space, how to tell a story visually, and how to bring ideas to life in a way that feels intentional and cohesive.

Over time, I realized I wasn’t just drawn to the details—I was drawn to how everything connects. How a space feels when you walk into it, how design guides experience, and how small decisions can completely shift the energy of a moment.
Wedding design became the place where all of that came together.
It gave me the opportunity to take everything I’ve learned—editorial styling, spatial design, branding, and visual storytelling—and apply it in a way that’s personal, meaningful, and lasting.
Now, every wedding I design is a reflection of that journey—thoughtfully layered, visually intentional, and created to feel as good as it looks.
