I’m a dedicated mom and former athlete with a passion for design that reflects my love for creativity and style. With a sharp sense of sarcasm, or as my mother would say "smart mouth," I believe life is best enjoyed with a little humor and a lot of flavor. When I’m not planning an unforgettable event I am enjoying time with my family, watching historical fiction shows, and playing a round of golf.

Right now, I’m loving a slower, more intentional pace. I started my entrepreneurial journey in full hustle mode, but these days, it’s all about balance—Sundays at church, dance parties with my daughter, hot yoga, and sending ridiculous memes to my best friends.

I'm learning that building real relationships is key. As a bit of a computer nerd, I’ve always thrived behind the scenes, relying on my organization skills and artistic eye to get me this far. Now, I’m stepping out of my shell, connecting with real people, and embracing the power of genuine relationships.

not about
What I’m not about is sugarcoating. I believe trust starts with saying the hard stuff. Growing up in the South, I was taught to sprinkle a little sweetness on every word, and while I get the charm, I’ve learned that honest, direct communication makes life so much easier.

What I believe is that Jesus Christ is King. My purpose here on earth is to love unconditionally, be a light to others, and approach everyone without judgment, seeing them as my brothers and sisters.

How a High School Party Sparked My Passion for Event Planning
The first event I ever planned was back in 11th grade during my yearbook class. I was eager to join my classmates on a journalism trip to Columbia University, but I needed to raise $1,000 for the trip and another $500 for spending money. So, I decided to throw a party. After reaching out to various venues, most turned me down because it was a teen party, and others charged outrageous rental fees.
Then I had a lightbulb moment—I switched my pitch to describe it as a "yearbook club fundraiser," which was sort of true. In my MySpace days, word spread quickly, and I ended up ruining my family’s computer downloading pirated music from LimeWire to create the ultimate mixtape for the event. I charged $5 at the door, with a rule that if you left, you had to pay again to get back in.
The night was a total hit; the fire marshal was called because not only was the gym at capacity, but the parking lot was overflowing, with cars wrapped around the elementary school. In the end, I made $3,000 that night, and that’s when I realized that event planning was my passion.
